<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device which quantitatively measures a hue of an output light flux by using a simple filter without incorporating a high-costed chromaticity meter, and maintains a target hue by feedback control.SOLUTION: In a light source device, light-emitting elements include a plurality of kinds of light-emitting elements whose light-emission wavelengths belong to different wavelength bands, respectively. The light source device comprises first, second, and third light quantity measurement means. A sensitivity value at a reference wavelength and a change rate of sensitivity to change in wavelength, of spectral sensitivity characteristics of those light quantity measurement means, are accorded with those of three color-matching functions of an XYZ-colorimetric system. A control circuit intermittently acquires light quantity measurement data to generate a hue indicator value correlated with light color, and feedback controls a drive circuit so as to reduce a difference with its target value. The control circuit determines a coefficient when a change amount of the hue indicator value, when a light emission intensity indicator value correlated with the light intensity is minutely changed, is represented by linear calculation by using a change amount of the light emission intensity indicator value, and controls the drive circuit by calculation through the coefficient.</p> |
