<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of setting setting values related to a dew condensation prevention mode to appropriate values without complicating a structure in the image forming apparatus.SOLUTION: When a main control unit 110 stops temperature control of a fixing unit 105 and then turns on energization to a heater 53 again, sets a temperature and humidity ranges 200 in which dew condensation is predicted to occur on the basis of a length of the latest time during which the heater has been turned off, and if the set temperature and humidity ranges include the current temperature and humidity, shifts to a dew condensation prevention mode. The main control unit 110 sets a dew condensation prevention time longer or sets a dew condensation prevention temperature higher, as the latest time during which the heater has been turned off is longer.</p> |
