A substrate housing section (100) houses a circuit board that outputs image signals. An optical unit generates an image on the basis of the image signals outputted from the circuit board, and projects the image. The image is projected to the combiner (400). The optical unit has: an optical unit main body (210) including a light source and an image display element; and a projection section (300), which is attached to the optical unit main body (210), and which determines the projection direction. The projection section (300) is provided with an intermediate image screen (360) on which an intermediate image is formed, and which is removable from the optical unit main body (210). |
