The present invention is a shoe provided with: a plurality of cleats projecting from a bottom surface of an outsole; a first area in which a first cleat is disposed; a second area in which a second cleat is disposed; and a strip-like portion disposed between the first area and the second area. On the shoe, the strip-like portion extends from the central area of a rearfoot portion toward a rear edge portion of the rearfoot portion, and extends from the central area of the rearfoot portion to the outer edge portion of the outside of the rearfoot portion. The shoe has the following characteristic a) and/or characteristic b): a) the Young's modulus of soft material forming the strip-like portion is smaller than the Young's modulus of hard material forming the first and second areas; b) the average value of the thickness of the strip-like portion is smaller than the average value of the thickness of sections in the neighborhood of the strip-like portion in the first and second areas.
