Disclosed are a built-in touch screen and a display device. At least one gate signal line is used as a touch scanning line, a touch reading line is disposed between pixel units of an array substrate in adjacent lines, and touch units are disposed in an area defined by the touch scanning line and the touch reading line, each touch unit comprising a light sensation sub-unit, a touch electrode, and a touch signal control sub-unit. The light sensation sub-unit is connected to the touch signal control sub-unit by the touch electrode; a control signal output by the light sensation sub-unit to the touch signal control sub-unit changes as the outside light and the coupling capacitance of the touch electrode change; the touch signal control sub-unit is connected to the touch scanning line and the touch reading line, and when the touch scanning line transmits an electrical signal, the touch signal control sub-unit outputs, through the touch reading line, a touch sensing signal modulated by the control signal. Compared with a simple capacitive touch screen, the built-in touch screen disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention can improve the touch sensitivity of the touch screen.
