<p>Provided is a photoacoustic measurement device with which contact-determination processing and image-generation processing are separately performed. An acoustic-wave detection means (16) is provided with first detector elements (161) and second detector elements (162). A photoacoustic signal detected by the first detector elements (161) after light from a light source has been emitted towards a subject is received by a signal processing unit, and signal processing for image generation or the like is performed by the signal processing unit. A reflected-acoustic-wave signal detected by the second detector elements (162) after an acoustic wave has been transmitted is received by contact-determination means (31). The contact determination means (31) determine whether a probe is in contact with the subject on the basis of the received reflected-acoustic-wave signal.</p> |
