<p>The present invention is provided with: a cell stack (S) obtained by multiply arranging single cells (1) having accommodation parts (1C) for a liquid electrolyte (2), injection openings (H) to each of the accommodation parts (1C) being disposed in an upper part; a liquid storage tank (T) disposed on the upper side of the cell stack (S), the liquid electrolyte (2) being stored in the liquid storage tank (T); tank-opening means (5, 7, 8) for opening the bottom part of the liquid storage tank (T); and a manifold (6) for forming a closed space from the part of the liquid storage tank (T) that is opened by the tank-opening means to the injection openings (H) of the cell stack. The manifold has a gas-relief part for discharging gas generated in the cell stack upward. In a liquid-injection-type air cell (C1) in which the liquid storage tank (T) and the cell stack (S) are disposed vertically, hydrogen gas generated during electrical generation is prevented from collecting in the liquid storage tank (T).</p> |
