Embodiments of the present invention disclose a device identification method and a relevant device, the device identification method comprising: displaying the device names of all connectible devices in a current network; if user is detected to have chosen a target connectible device among all connectible devices, reading device relevant information of the target connectible device, the target connectible device being the connectible device chosen by the user, and the device relevant information of the target connectible device comprising: at least one of the last connection time of the target connectible device and the last disconnection time of the target connectible device; displaying the device relevant information of the target connectible device. The technical solution provided by the present invention can effectively reduce device identification time for users and enhance user experience.
