PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair for eliminating a problem of complexity of appearance in an operation part provided at a backrest and a seat. SOLUTION: In the chair, where coated cloth 199 is disposed at an outer surface side of a core 197 in at least one of the backrest and the seat 7, an operation part 219 operable from the outside via the coated cloth 199 is provided on a surface hidden in the coated cloth 199 of the core 197, and a feature part for allowing the presence to be recognized by hand feeling via the coated cloth 199 is formed at the operation part 219.
