Disclosed is a yaw-brake for a wind power generator. The yaw-brake for a wind power generator according to an embodiment of the present invention controls the rotation of a nacelle around a tower by pressing a disc plate using a brake pad and includes an oil pressure cylinder unit having a body with a cylinder groove and a piston moving inside the cylinder groove by a fluid supply, and providing a pressing force to the brake pad; a first side clamp supporting one side of the body to partially protrude from the body to the disc plate; a second side clamp supporting the other side of the body to partially protrude from the body to the disc plate and facing the first side clamp; a base plate interposed between the piston and the brake pad, arranged between the first and second clamps, and having a base inclined surface on the side facing the second side clamp; a wedge arranged between the base plate and the second side clamp and having a wedge inclined surface corresponding to the base inclined surface on the side facing the base plate; and a wedge driving unit making the base plate and wedge to be in contact with the first side clamp and second side clamp, respectively by providing a driving force for moving the wedge inclined surface along the base inclined surface. |
