The gas generator (10) has an ignition device (30) that is inserted into a tube (20) through the front end (21) of the tube and fixed to the front end of the tube. The ignition device is formed with an injection molded portion (40) comprising an inner section inserted in the tube and an outer section arranged outside the tube.
