Disclosed is an automatic teller machine. An automatic teller machine includes an interface which receives a cash from a cassette and receives amount of deposit with regard to the cash, and a processor which calculates measured amount with regard to retained amount in the cassette, based on the corresponding moving distance of a cash support unit which moves relating to the cash, and outputs an alarm message relating to a cash error recognition if the measured amount is not equal to the amount of deposit. |
