<p>Provided are a light emitting device and a method for manufacturing the same, wherein the light emitting device comprises a protecting device capable of preventing the luminance from being lowered by the protecting device, stably attaching the protecting device, and preventing reduction in the yield of a reflective cup forming process. The device and the method apply a dielectric element, by a printing method, which is attached to a positive electrode lead and a negative electrode lead connected to a light emitting diode chip, and is composed of voltage switching dielectric elements that convert insulative into conductive when a surge voltage level is reached.</p> |
