The present invention discloses a multilevel backflow prevention device of a food wastes disposal device and an operation method thereof capable of preventing toxic gas and odor generated in the food wastes disposal device from backflow and being discharged to the outside of the food wastes disposal device when food waste is put into the food wastes disposal device. The multilevel backflow prevention device includes a receiving unit for receiving food and a fermenting unit for fermenting received food, wherein the receiving unit comprises: a container for measuring the weight of received food; a cover for opening and closing the top of the container; a blocking plate for opening and closing the bottom of the container; a rail for guiding the movement of the blocking plate; an operation unit for moving the blocking plate along the rail; and an injection control unit for receiving the food from the container, which is moved with the food, and delivers the food to the fermenting unit.
