<p>This utility model relates to a frustum formwork for caisson or ground chamber formation or excavation that could be employed in a process of caisson formation which would allow subterranean or underground soil condition to be determined. Furthermore, the process ensures workers safety by eliminating the potential risk of the excavated area from caving in or collapsing. The frustum formwork comprises a plurality of arcuate segments being assembled to define a frustum, and abutting flanges being provided at the edges of the arcuate segments, said abutting flanges having a plurality of coinciding holes adapted to receive fastening means. The arcuate segments may be provided with a plurality of reinforcing ribs spacedly and parallely provided in their internal surfaces.</p> |
