<p>A head-up display device (100, 100a) includes a projection unit (11) configured to project predetermined information on a transparent display panel (2a) by superimposing on a background (400) that is visible to a user viewing the transparent display panel (2a) placed in front of a line of sight of the user. The head-up display device (100, 100a) may also include three light sources (13a, 13b, 13c) configured to emit lights of differing colors onto the transparent display panel (2a), a detection unit (17) configured to detect a background color that is visible when viewing the transparent display panel (2a), and a controller (18) configured to control a display of the predetermined information (300) using a display color in correspondence to the background color detected by the detection unit (17).</p> |
