摘要 The present invention relates to a method for treating odor generated in livestock barns, sewage and waste water treatment facilities, and environment basis treatment facilities and during chemical processes or air pollutants such as acid gas including NO_x, SO_x and HCl which are contained in exhaust gas of combustion process and, more specifically, to a method for treating air pollutants using an un-divided electrolysis cell to oxidize Co(II), which is an electro-active catalyst, to produce a strong oxidizer, and to make the produced oxidizer react with air pollutants to remove the air pollutants, and to a device used therefor. The air pollutants in gas, which is introduced into a gas-liquid contact oxidation reactor according to the present invention, are removed by reacting with the electro-active catalyst, which is electrochemically oxidized in an anode of the un-divided electrolysis cell, and are discharged. The un-divided electrolysis cell, in which electrochemical oxidation of the electro-active catalyst is carried out, has no divided film between the anode and the cathode as a form of un-divided film, so an electro-active catalyst oxidation device can be provided which reduces production costs since the device does not require the installation with respect to the cathode unit compared with the divided electrolysis cell, is easy to operate due to a simple structure, and continues to process air pollutant with high treatment efficiency.
