APPARATUS FOR MEASURING CONTENT OF COAL GAS INCLUDED IN COAL CORE

The present invention relates to a coal gas measuring device which measures the content of coal gas, for example, methane gas included in a coal core produced through test boring so that filled amount of the coal gas included in a coal layer can be estimated. The coal gas measuring device comprises: a frame which forms the outer appearance thereof; multiple cylinder pipes which are mounted in the frame, is disposed in a vertical direction with respect to the ground, and include water filled therein; multiple gas feeding valves which are mounted on the top end of each of the cylinder pipes to be able to be opened and closed and feed the coal gas discharged from the pulverized coal core into the cylinder pipes; multiple water discharging valves which are mounted on the bottom end of each of the cylinder pipes to be able to be opened and closed and discharge the filled water to the outside by means of the pressure of the coal gas fed into the cylinder pipe; a first water discharging pipe which has one end connected with each of the water discharging valves; and a water tank which is mounted on one side surface of the frame and has a bottom surface connected with the other end of the first water discharging pipe, so that water discharged though the opening of each of the water discharging valves is fed. The water tank can slide in a vertical direction with respect to the ground along the side surface of the frame, and the cylinder pipe is made of transparent material.
