PURPOSE: A catalyst agent for reducing exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine and an exhaust gas reducing device using the same are provided to irradiate exhaust gas, which is heated by an exhausting operation, with plenty of far infrared rays, thereby annihilating and sterilizing harmful components in the exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A catalyst agent for reducing exhaust gas from an internal combustion engine is prepared by finely pulverizing minerals, in which 4-6 weight% of mica, 80-90 weight% of germanium, and 6-14 weight% of silica are mixed, and mixing the pulverized particles with a coating liquid. The coating liquid is made of 35-40 weight% of methoxy silane, 25-30 weight% of colloid silica, and 20-30 weight% of refined water. The catalyst agent is coated on the surface of an exhaust gas reducing device (10). |
