<p>The present invention relates to a coating material for an aluminum die casting mold and a method to manufacture the same. More specifically, the coating material is formed on the surface of a base material and includes: a Cr or a Ti layer; a CrN or a Ti(C)N bonding layer; a TiAlN/Cr(SiC)N nanomultilayer; and a Cr(SiC)ON layer in order. The coating material has excellent heat resistance, high temperature stability, and burning resistance; thus extending the life span of the mold.</p> |
