<p>A wet electrolytic capacitor comprising: an anode that includes a wire assembly 10 of at least two or more individual wires and a particulate material in contact with at least a portion of the wire assembly 10; a cathode; and a fluidic working electrolyte between the anode and the cathode. Also disclosed is an electrode for a wet electrolytic capacitor, the electrode comprising a substrate connected to a wire assembly, the assembly containing a group of first wires 12 in a first direction and a group of second wires 14 in a second direction, wherein a particulate material is disposed over the substrate so that it is in contact with at least a portion of the wire assembly 10, the particulate material being formed of a valve metal composition.</p> |
