Disclosed are a financial transaction authorization method by two-channel authentication using a personal identification number and a financial transaction server used for the same. The financial transaction server of the present invention comprises: a receiving unit to receive financial transaction information from a user terminal; an authentication unit to generate a personal identification number for financial transaction authorization; a storage unit to store the personal identification number generated by the authentication unit; and a transmitting unit to transmit a password input request message and the personal identification number for the financial transaction authorization to the user terminal. The financial transaction authorization method by two-channel authentication using a personal identification number and the financial transaction server used for the same according to the present invention can strengthen security and anonymity in online financial transactions.
