PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite panel of excellent lightweightness and excellent mechanical strength in any direction which can pass the nonflammable standard to be defined by the nonflammable performance test stipulated by Article 2-9 of the Building Standard Law. SOLUTION: In the composite panel, a metal sheet is integrally layered on at least one side of a modified poly-phenylene ether-based resin foam sheet containing, by weight, 10-60% phenylene ether component and 40-90% styrene component, with its base weight being≤210 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>via hot melt adhesive.
