PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque rod which can prevent an opening to be highly deformed even if excessive external force is applied. SOLUTION: The torque rod includes: a rod body (11) having a rectangular cross section orthogonal to an axis connecting fixed parts (111 and 112) fixed to an engine and a vehicle body, respectively and including an actuator chamber (1131) opened to a short side of the rectangle; and an inertia mass actuator (12) housed in the actuator chamber (1131) from the opening and making an inertia mass (123) reciprocate along a shaft (121) parallel to the axis to reduce vibration transmitted to the rod body (11).
