PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyethylene resin composition for a pipe, which does not generate plate-out or eye mucus during molding of a polyethylene pipe, does not generate minute structural defective parts, lines, wrinkles, etc., on the inside or surface of a pipe made of polyethylene, does not cause stress concentration on the inside or surface, does not become to be an initiating point for initiating brittle fracture, and is used for producing the pipe made of polyethylene with a good appearance and a long forming life. SOLUTION: The polyethylene resin composition for pipe includes 100 pts.wt. of polyethylene resin (A), 0.1-5 pts.wt. of titanium oxide (B), and polyethylene wax (C) having a molecular weight of 800-10,000. The ratio (B/C) of titanium oxide (B) to polyethylene wax (C) is 1.5-9. Preferably, the polyethylene resin (A) is a high-density polyethylene. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
