摘要 The present invention relates to an apparatus for generating a sound source for a marine seismic exploration. An objective of the present invention is to allow an accurate marine exploration by controlling a depth of the apparatus for generating a sound source, and to prevent errors in analyzing and interpreting data due to a direct wave and a secondary wave heading to a sea surface in advance. To achieve the objective, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus includes: a buoyancy control part having a cylindrical body accommodating sea water and a lid coupled to both end parts of the body in such manner that the lid is detachable from at least one end part to open and close an opening of the end part; and a frame part having a plurality of frames assembled to the body to form a seating unit to be coupled to a transducer. According to the apparatus for generating a sound source for a marine seismic exploration of the present invention, the depth of the apparatus for generating a sound source is controlled to obtain low noise and high resolution seismic wave data through a deeptow scheme such that an accurate marine exploration is performed. In addition, the sound source generated from the apparatus for generating a sound source prevents the direct wave and the secondary reflected wave heading to the sea surface by a sound absorbing pad so that errors in analyzing and interpreting data can be prevented in advance.
