<p>The present invention relates to a device for separating meat-and-bones of slaughtered animals that are inserted into the device, which has a conveyor screw (7, 27, 47) that is responsible for separating the meat from the bones of the bodies to be processed. The present device/equipment comprises an inlet that is a feed hopper (1, 23, 41), into which the bodies are inserted, wherein there is a conveyor screw assembly (7, 27, 47), a conveyor screw (9, 29, 48), a stator (10, 32, 51) involving said conveyor screw (9, 29, 48), which has a filter (13, 34, 53). This filter (13, 34, 53) is in communication with an outlet (12, 31, 50) of the device, and the stator (10, 32, 51) further communicates with a bone outlet (15, 30, 49), wherein between the feed hopper (1, 23, 41) and the conveyor screw assembly (7, 27, 47) there is a forced-feed assembly (6, 20, 40) that feeds said conveyor screw (7, 27, 47), providing axial displacement of the bodies along the device without the need for the conveyor screw assembly (7, 27, 47) to provide displacement of the bodies along the device. Thus, the conveyor screw assembly (7, 27, 47) is dedicated to a radial displacement of the bodies so as to provide the necessary separation of meat from bones, the turn velocity or rotation being reduced because the compression has been carried out before, thus saving energy and preventing the bones of the bodies from breaking, which results in a quite reduced contamination of the bodies by blood and/or bone marrow.</p> |
