The profile (1) has a frame profile (21) and a surface element (22) between which a gap (S) is formed. Two C-shaped regions are connected with each other. A base region is made of a compact material, and a foam region is made of a foamed material. The base and foam regions are fixed adjacent to each other in sections and/or lie together. The base and foam regions are commonly formed by a co-extrusion process. A hollow chamber (8) is formed in a boundary region between the base and foam regions. The chamber is designed as a recess in a front region made of compact and foamed elastic material. The surface element is designed as an insulated glass disk, a window, a door or a facade component. An independent claim is also included for a plug-in seal arrangement. |
