The reinforcement (2) has a linking element (4) i.e. blade, mechanically connecting a fixation element (6) to another fixation element (5), where the reinforcement is housed in a flexible casing (3) of a watch strap strip (1). The former fixation element fixes the strip to a watch case. The latter fixation element fixes the strip to a closure element i.e. clasp buckle. The blade is made of superelastic metal alloy i.e. nickel-titanium alloy. The fixation elements are respectively formed of tubes (9, 10) and made of superelastic alloy. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a strip for a watch strap (2) a method for determining width and/or thickness of a watch strap strip reinforcement. |
