The invention refers to a system for accurately calibrating and/or characterizing instruments for measuring the temperature by telemetry, which involves a unit of reference with thermal gradient defined by a disc with thermal gradient formed by, at least, a concentric thermal diffuser metallic ring, with temperature sensors that generate a radial profile of multi-staged temperatures, which are mechanically linked to a cavity of a black body housed in the electric furnace, for generating and controlling the temperature thereof by telemetry; and a method for calibrating instruments for measuring the temperature by telemetry, by means of a measurement subsystem for calibrating equipment for measuring temperature by telemetry, which is arranged in front of said at least furnace that includes a platform with a longitudinal graded scale acting as a distance indicator and which is adapted for mounting the pattern equipment and the equipment to be calibrated; and a PC where the readings of th e temperature of the system of rings of thermal gradient reference of the cylindrical cavity of black body are stored, as well as the traceability regarding to the pattern equipment for obtaining a temperature profile which enables, by means of specialized mathematical software, to calibrate and/or characterize, by comparison, the instruments for measuring the temperature by telemetry. |
