<p>The present invention relates to a network entity (14) for increasing traffic security for use in a wireless communication network (21), comprising a receiving unit (15) adapted to receive via the wireless communication network (21) information from a first mobile communication device (1), a processing unit (16) adapted to process the information received from the first mobile communication device (1) for detecting an endangered traffic situation, and a transmission unit (17) adapted to transmit an alerting message via the wireless communication network (21) to at least one second mobile communication device (2) in vicinity of the first mobile communication device (1) upon detection of an endangered traffic situation.
