Thermoplastic moulding compositions, containing: A) 10 to 99.8 wt% thermoplastic polyamide, B) 0.1 to 60 wt% red phosphorus, C) 0.05 to 5 wt% catalyst, containing copper and zinc and a carrier material, D) 0 to 40 wt% impact strength modifier, E) 0 to 60 wt% additional additives, wherein the total of the weight percentages A) to E) is equal to 100%.
