摘要 <p>The invention relates to a system for enhancing efficiency of vertical-axis Savonius turbines, meant to be applied in the field of producing electric energy from wind energy, by using the Savonius turbines with vertical axis. According to the invention, the system consists of a turbine of a diameter (), with some blades () and some lower and upper covers () respectively, whereon there are mounted a bearing (), a turbine axle (), two identical cylindrical sectors (), of equivalent diameter (), a fixed connection (), a servomotor () controlled by a module () for electronic detection of the wind direction, which, by means of a coupling (), simultaneously orients, according to the wind, the cylindrical sectors () and a coupling () rigidly fixed on the axle (), which drives an electric generator (), the system allowing the replacement of the module () for electronic detection of the wind direction with a windsail (), and the sectors () are identical, with opposite angles () and ranging between 45...90°, their apex coinciding with the turbine rotation axle, resulting in the speed increase in the turbine axle (), hence the enhancement of the efficiency of conversion of wind energy into electric energy.</p>
