A method for producing a Diagnostic-Nanosensor having a carrier and two-dimensioned arched metallic nanostructures with detection-molecules, the method comprising: assembling said Diagnostic-Nanosensor on a spring wire or stent to form a molecular or cell select catheter configured for obtaining molecular or cellular components directly from intravenous blood circulation; configuring said Diagnostic-Nanosensor to be applied through a hollow needle or through a venous line into a human blood vessel so that, when in use, the Diagnostic-Nanosensor can be retracted with attached cells and/or molecules for processing after an incubation time; patterning the metallic nanostructures as periodic, surface-confined nanotriangles forming nanopatterned islands disposed in a hexagonal array, characterized by surface-confined rod-shaped horizontal nano-morphologies obtained by a sintering process of the surface-confined nanotriangles, wherein the nanopatterned islands are obtained by nanosphere lithography (NSL) with an annealing step of a polystyrene mask; and linking bio-organic interactive material to the nanostructures indirectly through linker technology.
