A gate driver and an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device using the same are provided to reduce a space for signal lines, which are connected to a gate driver, by sharing starting pulses of a dual gate driver and output signals of dummy stages. A gate driver includes a circuit unit(132) and a line unit(134). The circuit unit includes plural stages cascaded with one another. Output terminals of the stages are connected to plural gate lines, respectively, so that a gate clock or gate clock bar pulse as a gate driving signal is outputted to plural gate lines in response to a start pulse. The line unit includes start pulse lines which receive the start pulse from the outside and supply the start pulse to input terminals of an odd first stage and an even first stage among the plural stages. |
