According to an embodiment of the present an apparatus for correcting a shape includes: a side trimmer for cutting the edge of a strip into a predetermined width and generating a scrap thereby; a chopper for cutting the scrap cut by the side trimmer; a scarp chute which is arranged in between the side trimmer and chopper to provide a pathway for the scrap to move through, while having entrance and exit for drawing the scrap in and out; an upper roller installed on top of the scrap chute to rotate toward one direction, while being able to descend toward the top of the scrap which is drawn in; and a lower roller installed on the bottom of the scrap chute to rotate toward one direction, while being able to ascend toward the scrap. The upper and lower rollers respectively descend and ascend toward the drawn-in scarp to pressurize the scrap. |
