Disclosed is a shoe hold-down structure for a drum brake. In the shoe hold-down structure for a drum brake, according to an embodiment of the present invention, a pair of brake shoes that generate a braking force through friction with an inner circumferential surface of a drum are disposed to be capable of oscillating in a back plate. The shoe hold-down structure for a drum brake includes a shoe hold-down pin where a head portion is provided at one end to penetrate through-holes formed in the back plate and the brake shoes in sequence and a supporting portion is provided at the other end to be caught and supported by the back plate, and which has a body portion with a predetermined length to connect the head portion and the supporting portion to each other; a shoe hold-down washer where a coupling hole is formed so that the head portion penetrates and is coupled with the shoe hold-down washer; and a shoe hold-down spring that is interposed between the shoe hold-down washer and the brake shoe so that the shoe hold-down pin penetrates an inner portion thereof and provides an elastic force so that a predetermined assembly load is provided for the brake shoe and the back plate, wherein, the head portion has a slot formed at the center with a predetermined length in a longitudinal direction so that the head portion can be elastically deformed by the slot. |
