<p>The device (11) has a steam supply line (3), and a nozzle (2) constricted for obtaining a suction effect. A milk supply line (4) is connected with the nozzle in such a manner that milk (M) from a milk container is provided to the nozzle under the suction effect. An air inlet adds air for producing a milk foam (S), and is designed as an air-inlet opening that is arranged in front of the steam supply opening with respect to a flow direction.
