determining a geographic area location where said wireless UE device is located; responsive to determining that a cross-technology database on the wireless UE device is out-of-date for said geographic area location, updating the cross-technology database for said geographic area location; and responsive to determining that a radio access technology (RAT) previously available in said geographic area location is not currently available, modifying the frequency of searches for said RAT. |
