An air conditioner includes: a housing; a refrigerant inlet pipe and a refrigerant outlet pipe of which a refrigerant flows in and out; and a heat exchanger which is linked to the refrigerant inlet pipe and the refrigerant outlet pipe and is arranged in the housing to exchange heat with the outside air. The heat exchanger includes: a first circular pipe heat exchanger which is linked to the refrigerant inlet pipe to exchange heat through a circular pipe with a refrigerant flow; a tube-type heat exchanger which is linked to the first circular pipe heat exchanger and exchanges heat through a plate-shaped tube; a second circular pipe heat exchanger which is linked to the tube-type heat exchanger and exchanges heat through another circular pipe with another refrigerant flow to discharge the refrigerant to the refrigerant outlet pipe. Such configuration ensures that there is no excessively heated or cooled area in the heat exchanger to maximize the heat transfer performance.
