The present invention relates to a safety net installed at a construction site to prevent an accident caused by a fall of a worker or material during working. The safety net is manufactured by mixing an additive with a polypropylene raw material, melting and spinning the mixed material at 230 to 270°C to obtain a yarn, cooling the yarn at 15 to 25°C, and weaving the net by a weft yarn and a warp yarn made of the polypropylene fiber coated with ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer. The polypropylene raw material has an isotactic index of 95% or more and a melt index of 1 to 15 g/10 minutes. The content of ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer is 20 to 30 weight% of vinyl acetate, of which the melt index is 20 to 30 g/10 minutes, and thermal adhesion strength is 500 gf/inch or more. The additive includes, based on 100 parts by weight of the polypropylene raw material, 1 to 5 parts by weight of a flame resistant, 1 to 5 parts by weight of a flexible reinforcing agent, 1 to 5 parts by weight of an impact modifier, 0.1 to 1 parts by weight of a UV stabilizer, and 0.1 to 1 parts by weight of an antioxidant. Since the safety net is light-weight, and has good tensile strength and impact strength, as well as sufficient elasticity and flame resistance, it can prevent an accident and an outbreak of fire. Also, since the safety net is durable, the lifespan of the product is increased. The safety net is also eco-friendly and reusable. |
