Search system and method using search library

Provided is a search system and method for performing a search during execution of an application in a mobile terminal. The search method may include executing an application, without terminating the application, by including a search window on a part of an execution screen of the application. The system and method also include incorporating a library into an application.

1. A mobile terminal, comprising:
an application execution unit configured to execute an application; a display unit configured to display, on an execution screen of the application, a search interface on at least a portion of the execution screen, the search interface being embedded according to a search library that is inserted into the application, the search interface being accessible while the application is running; and a transmission and reception unit configured to,
transmit, to a search server, search information, the search information including at least two of (i) a search word input via the search interface, (ii) identification information associated with the application into which the search library is embedded, and (iii) user information associated with the mobile terminal, andreceive, from the search server, a search result corresponding to the search information, wherein the display unit is configured to display the search result without terminating the application.
