1. An apparatus for obtaining token information with a visible response, the apparatus comprising:
a housing; reader circuitry for wirelessly obtaining, from a customer during a transaction, information encoded on a token; an approval module; integral with the housing, at least one illumination device for providing illumination from the housing, the illumination having colors that are variable among and associated with customers; and driver circuitry for causing the at least one illumination device to illuminate (i) during normal operation in a stand-by color and (ii) upon approval by the approval module of a the transaction in a customer color, wherein the customer color was associated with the customer presenting the token prior to the transaction and is different from the stand-by color. |
