PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a user cannot determine if the user should be evacuated from a spot where the user currently stays from a tsunami forecast on TV when an earthquake occurs during the user's stay in a strange place.SOLUTION: An evacuation support device comprises: tsunami information acquisition means which acquires tsunami information including tsunami height; altitude calculation means which calculates the altitude of the current position; and control means which issues a first alarm when the tsunami height is higher than the altitude of the current position as a result of comparing both.
