PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a state of a battery at a normal state while protecting an inverter properly.SOLUTION: The vehicle control device comprises: a rotation electrical machinery 10 having regenerative power generation function; a battery 20; an inverter 30 having plural switching elements 31; temperature acquisition means 33a, 33b acquiring correlation temperature of the plural switching elements 31; a resistance part 35r connected between the battery 20 and the plural switching elements 31 via a switch part 35s, and consuming power of the battery 20 according to change of on-off of the switch part 35s; and control means 4 for performing at least one of switching discharge control for consuming power of the battery 20 by switching the plural switching elements 31 and resistance discharge control for consuming power of the battery 20 by the resistance part 35r by turning on the switch part 35s. The control means 4 stops switching discharge control and performs resistance discharge control when the correlation temperature is equal to or more than the predetermined temperature. |
