PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor fan that can effectively cool a heating element without disturbing an air flow.SOLUTION: A motor fan 1 according to the present invention comprises: an impeller 7b that forms an air flow; an electric motor 6 that rotates the impeller 7b; a shroud 10 including a cylindrical casing 16 that covers the outer periphery of the impeller 7b and through which the air flow passes, and a base 11 that extends around the casing 16 and leads the air flow on the suction side to the casing 16; a control unit 40 that controls the rotation of the electric motor 6 and is arranged on the discharge side of the base 11; and a heat sink 50 that restrains heat generation of the control unit 40 by dissipating heat from heat dissipation pins 52. In the heat sink 50, the heat dissipation pins 52 are exposed to the suction side.
