摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print production method which reduces intermittent perforation-like unevenness of a print in proximity of the central part of the print, while suppressing occurrence of flaws of an image-receiving sheet in peeling of an ink ribbon and large wrinkles in ink ribbon end parts in printing, so as to provide a high-quality print.SOLUTION: A printing method comprises printing on an image-receiving sheet by using a thermal transfer printer and an ink ribbon, and the thermal printer has a stretching member which stretches the ink ribbon in the downstream of a printing position set between a thermal head and a platen roller. The ink ribbon facing surface of the stretching member has such a shape that the central side relative to the width-direction end side is swollen by 0.4-2 mm in the ink ribbon's flowing direction. The ink ribbon has at least one colorant layer of one color and a protective layer, and the image-receiving sheet has a receiving layer. After full-color printing of the colorant layer(s), the dynamic friction coefficient between the surface of the receiving layer of image-receiving sheet before coating of the protective layer and the outermost surface of the ink ribbon on the protective layer is 0.4 or smaller.
