The present invention relating to a variable step valve lift device comprises a cam shaft; a plurality of cams which is equipped to slide to the cam shaft and have a cam base having a protruding guide unit and a cam lobe; a solenoid unit having an operating rod having a guide groove into which the protruding guide unit is selectively inserted; and a valve opening and closing unit which is selectively in contact with one of the cams.
