The present invention relates to a glycogen synthetase kinase beta (GSK3 beta) inhibitor. More specifically, the present invention relates to a polypeptide consisting of the amino acid sequence of sequence number 1 as a peptide in which a PPPSPxS motif of LRP6 and an RxRxxS motif of an N-terminal of GSK3beta are connected through serine. In the polypeptide according to the present invention, the phoshorylation of the PPPSPxS motif of LRP6 can be easily performed so that the GSK3beta can be effectively inhibited. Accordingly, the polypeptide can be usefully used in treating diseases caused by the overexpression of GSK3beta, such as type 2 diabetes, inflammatory diseases, hyperlipidemia, Alzheimer′s disease, Parkinson′s disease, osteoporosis, alopecia, bipolar disorders, and brain damage. |
