PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser ionization mass spectrometer capable of analyzing a polymer material with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: A laser ionization mass spectrometer comprises a sample platform 10, a heating control section 20, an ion beam source 30, a laser light source 40 and an analysis section 50. The heating control section 20 is capable of performing heating control, on a polymer material disposed on the sample platform 10, to a melting point or a decomposition point of the polymer material at a maximum. The ion beam source 30 irradiates the polymer material disposed on the sample platform 10 with ion beams under heating control by the heating control section 20. The laser light source 40 irradiates, with laser light, polymer material originating molecules emitted from the polymer material disposed on the sample platform 10 by the ion beams from the ion beam source 30, and the polymer material originating molecules are ionized. The analysis section 50 is configured to perform mass spectrometry on a sample ionized by the laser light from the laser light source 40. |
